• DnB Masterclass 2009, with TWO HOURS of exclusive DnB studio footage!
As part of our massive 2009 DnB Masterclass, CM infiltrated the studios of drum 'n' bass big boys Sabre, Cyantific, Shimon, Alix Perez and Xample & Lomax to film them at work - we came back with just over two hours of footage, which you'll find on the CM DVD.

See just how the pros create their trademark sounds, program beats, process samples, record percussion, create edits and arrange tracks! Of course, there's a huge article in the mag to back it up, complete with easy-to-follow walkthroughs detailing the finer points of the lads' techniques.

• 2025 24-bit DnB samples
This king-size library of burly bass noises, slamming drum hits and tearing leads all adds up to being the ultimate set of drum 'n' bass building blocks! Everything's provided in WAV and pre-mapped CMplay format, for your sampling convenience.

Entire album made on iPhone

We've had single tracks and even a music video made using nothing but the iPhone, but New York outfit Nuclear O'Reilly claim to be the first band to make a whole album using Apple's touchscreen marvel. The work is titled Phoning It In, and the duo's App of choice? Intua's amazing Beatmaker. See/hear all about it in the video below...

Jay-Z's anti-Auto-Tune stance predictably fails to affect software sales

Despite a lyrical bashing from Jay-Z on his track “Death of Auto-Tune”, sales of the software have increased. “The Jay-Z controversy is great, we couldn’t buy P.R. like this.” Says Antares’ vice president of marketing Marco Alpert in this NY Times article.

We can’t help feeling “DOA” is far from vintage Jay-Z, but what do you think? Which is better, Jay-Z’s anti Auto-Tune rant or this slice of Auto-Tuned silliness from T-Pain and funsters The Lonely Island?
